What this site collects
Nothing about you is collected or stored by this site. There are no sign-ups, forms, tracking scripts or advertising.
What stays in your browser
Two things are kept in your browser’s local storage, on your device only: the list of videos you save, and whether you want sound on in Bloom scroll. They are never sent to this site. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.
YouTube
Video thumbnails load from YouTube’s image servers as pages open. The YouTube player loads only when you press Play or start Bloom scroll, from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Once a video plays, YouTube may store cookies and collect data under Google’s Privacy Policy.
Internet Archive
A few films play from the Internet Archive. Its player loads only when you press Play, and its own terms and privacy policy apply.
Fonts
The typefaces load from Google Fonts. Your browser requests them from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address in the process, as with any web request.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic request information, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Links to Reddit and YouTube
Following a link to Reddit or YouTube takes you to their sites, where their own privacy policies apply.
Children
The site is meant for a general audience and doesn’t knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
